Tree-Clearing Work Taking Place this Winter

In the coming weeks, representatives from the Bank Intercounty Drain District will be going door-to-door in certain areas notifying property owners about tree-clearing work that will take place in preparation for the replacement of the Bank Intercounty Drain (storm sewer).

Trees that need to be removed within the drain easement on properties will be marked with a ribbon. The tree-clearing work will take place over the winter to protect threatened and endangered bat species that may be in the area.
